Most people believe libertarians reject regulation.
Even many libertarians think so. But…
This is incorrect. Libertarianism, properly understood, embraces regulation, as long as consumers want it and are willing to pay for it. In other words…
Regulation must not be imposed on people with threats of violence.
Wait a minute! Isn’t that what regulation is — rules of conduct enforced by force? Think again!

  • The Voluntary Sector actually regulates in more and better ways than The State does.
  • On the other hand, The State is the most unregulated institution we have.

These crucial ideas need to be understood by libertarians, and then shared with non-libertarians. You can be a part of this educational process. Improve the world by putting new ideas in new minds.
